About the team:

We are the FIS Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable team, and our mission is to modernize & expand FIS's core AP & AR enterprise applications. We are already recognized as an industry leader for Order-to-Cash, utilizing ML and AI for intelligent automation, and Accounts Payable optimization using Virtual Cards, but we're not stopping there.

We are part of the Embedded Finance vertical, and we are building new features for our customers, accelerating time-to-value, and unlocking AP & AR services for the larger FinTech platform, to enable developers across all verticals to easily consume our services.


What you will be doing:

  • Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to fully understand the feature and product vision and provide engineering feedback.

  • Write high quality code and create design artifacts for large scale production systems.

  • Build secure, robust, scalable, and performant systems for processing transactions and managing customer data, using event/message driven architecture.

  • Design elegant API interfaces and domain models to provide consistency across upstream and downstream integrations.

  • Achieve operational excellence by participating in the team on-call rotation and owning production issues from root cause analysis to resolution.

  • Estimate project timelines, ensuring that projects you own stay on track and escalating as needed.

  • Maintain high standards of technical excellence across the team.

What you will need:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, and a history of working effectively with your team and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Experience or interest in building FinTech, payment, or banking systems.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or directly related field.

  • 3-5 years of relevant technical experience in software development roles using .NET, C#, SQL Server and other Microsoft technologies.

  • 2-3 years of recent experience as a Full Stack developer- end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with service mesh architectures on major Cloud providers like AWS/Azure/GCP.

  • Experience designing and implementing APIs for third-party developers.

  • Experience integrating third-party vendor solutions into backend systems.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $96,170.00 - $161,570.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
