This position is responsible for coordinating the KTSV Quality processes. Direct responsibilities encompass interacting with Customers on any Quality and Warranty items as well as full oversight of the ISO Certification process. The incumbent will also work with the Engineering and Production Teams to assist with implementation of all Customer specific Work Orders, Quality Plans, Acceptance Test Plans, etc. to assure full compliance with Customer quality expectations for each Job.

Position Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain the ISO Quality Manual, Quality Procedures and Forms so they are all current and represent the "say what we do, do what we say and prove it" ISO culture.
  • Pursue a Continuous Improvement philosophy by providing input to Production, Engineering and Purchasing regarding quality related improvement opportunities.
  • Support the Sales and Engineering Teams by providing the appropriate Quality input for each project/job.
  • Assure the proper Quality oversight, input and support is provided to the Production Department.
  • Acts as a customer/supplier liaison on quality related matters. Participates in product and process development and improvement reviews. Implements, monitors and assesses product performance, using statistical techniques, as required, and ensures the generation of required reports in a timely basis.
  • Independently seek, identify, & document continuous improvement (CI) opportunities throughout the plant
  • Provide leadership and direction to direct report(s)

Excellent Performance Outcomes for 2024:

  • Fully participate and Lead internal and External ISO audits to ensure continued certification.
  • Review and implement appropriate ISO Action List items for corrective action.
  • Lead Monthly reporting meetings and close loop between field product warranty and corrective action during production.

Requirements:

  • 4 year degree
  • 5 years experience in Quality
  • Custom manufacturing experience a plus
