What you'll do:

The Field Service Team Leader position is a working Team Leader role. The Team Leader is expected to perform all the typical duties performed by the Field Service Technician, with additional duties related to leadership. The Team Leader may be designated as the job site supervisory figure for other Field Service Technicians.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
All responsibilities required of Field Service Technician role, plus:
Ensure Field Service Technician compliance to company and job site policies and procedures
Provide training and instruction to other Field Service Technicians
Serve as a back-up to the Field Service Supervisor when they are unavailable.
Ensure project work is performed within budget and on schedule.
Provide project status and schedule updates to interested parties, as applicable.
Work with Field Service Technicians to achieve and exceed target productivity levels.
Identify areas of improvement and work to implement such improvements, focusing primarily on areas of Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Be an active participant in resolving conflicts before they become significant
Proactively identify and communicate issues and risks to applicable stakeholders.
Provide support, encouragement and feedback to Field Service Technicians.

What you need to be successful:

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Proven work experience as a Field Service Member for our company with excellent attendance and
    favorable performance background.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Must be willing and able to travel for more than 30 days at a time.
  • Ability to work and execute tasks as instructed.
  • Must be able to lead a team at work site.
  • Possess, or be able to obtain Passport and be able to enter Canada and Mexico.
  • Ability to manage site projects.
  • Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions and work positions.
  • Must be willing and able to fly in a commercial airliner.
  • Understand and uphold company's Quality Assurance standards.
