JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Focuses on planning, designing and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment
* Planning and coordinating maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications
* Support the work with continuous improvements of maintenance and cost optimization.
* Support in subcontractor issues
* May establish standards and policies regarding pollution control, testing, operating procedures, inspection, and maintenance of equipment.
* May research and recommend purchase of new equipment and systems..

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field
* 2-5 years of related work experience
* Experience working within manufacturing facilities and equipment
* Ability to work independently with general supervision
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Strong communication skills
* Willing to influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices
