Your Role

This role will be focused on Day 2 KCO program and will be the Change Management Lead for the entire program crossing over each process area to ensure business impacted teams and external partners (customers and patients) are trained and ready to effectively use the new technology. This position will focus on supporting the people side of the change, including changes to business processes, systems and technologies. The person will apply Organization Change Management (OCM) methodologies: assessing needs, stakeholders, and resistances to create engaging change campaigns and training content to support the organization through various business critical technology or process changes.

This position will partner with System Integration organization that will bring experts and teams to ensure successful development of OCM deliverables including training material to use for system implementation. The role will support guiding principles of the program to utilize solution best practices and out of the box solutions to ensure speed in delivering the solution. The person will also partner with Business Process Owner (BPPO) lead to ensure that solution will meet guiding principles and business requirements to support the KCO customers, patients and internal stakeholders. The role will also partner with BPO lead to ensure stakeholders are defined and managed, that ultimately the systems and processes deliver on commitments to the business results and metrics. The team will also support hypercare process for each deployment to ensure success metrics are met.

What You'll be Doing

  • Develop actionable and targeted organizational change management strategy, approach and key deliverables for assigned projects - including change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement and communication plans, evaluation plans, case for change roadmaps, training plans, sustainability plans and resistance/coaching plans.
  • Build and deliver a robust change management strategy aligned to the complexity of the change and impact to all team members across the globe considering regional perspectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of proposed changes on team members, processes, and systems.
  • Identify and analyze potential risks and challenges associated with change and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Create and deliver effective communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed throughout the change process including external and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the production and delivery of training materials associated with the project. Develop training metrics for effectiveness and adopt changes based on results.
  • Measure the effectiveness of the change management deliverables and make data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct regular assessments to gauge the organization's readiness for change and recommend actions.
  • Work closely with the other Program leaders to ensure success in program goals including cost, schedule, time and quality.
  • Provides collaborative leadership in matrix program organization to managers and experienced professional staff.
  • Manages scope, schedule, quality of defined program timeline and budget.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to achieve program goals.
  • Provides overall leadership with internal and external partners to deliver on commitments.
  • Decisions have an extended impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers.
  • Interacts with internal and/or external leaders, including senior management.
  • Persuades others into agreement in sensitive situations while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex matrix environment.
  • Generates solutions to issues in timely manner which may require responses daily.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business, Organizational Development, or a related study.
  • 10+ years proven experience in organizational change management.
  • Certification in change management (e.g., CCMP, Prosci, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with virtual learning instructional design tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe, Vyond, Camtasia, etc. desired.
  • Experience as the Change Lead on a large-scale digital transformation, such as an ERP implementation preferred.
  • Experience with all stages of change management methodologies and tools, including creating a Stakeholder Analysis, Change Impact Analysis, Communication Plans, Engagement Plans, Readiness Assessments, Training Plans, and developing training content.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches and tools, including the use of ADO, Jira, etc. to track progress on change management work assignments and deliverables.
  • Experience applying change management plans in a global operation, manufacturing and/or highly decentralized company.
  • Driving Results - Has a passion for achieving excellence in delivery, solving complex problems, and taking ownership.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $184,000 - $276,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
