Borgess Gardens recently opened a new nursing home facility which includes three buildings - an 81-bed main building and two residential cottages for 10 persons each. Borgess Gardens is an Eden Alternative certified facility which means the new facility is a natural, vibrant living environment for resident’s patients and staff. The features of Borgess Gardens are designed to foster relationship-centered care and communities instead of the traditional model of care.
BorgessGardensis currently seeking a Nursing Home Administrator. This leadership position will focus on creating optimum health and welfare conditions for the residents and employees of Borgess Gardens. The Administrator will oversee daily operations of the facility to ensure the resident’s needs are met in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. The administrator is accountable for budget, associate relations, physician operating procedures and outcomes which demonstrate a high level of quality and safety.
Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.

Current State of Michigan nursing home administrator license required.

Thorough level of knowledge and leadership experience in geriatric health care, governmental licensure regulations and all Medicaid/Medicare procedures and the management of health care facilities.

Familiarity with organization, functions, policies and procedures of nursing homes as they relate to management.
